ROSA, an undocumented immigrant from the Philippines, is a determined single mother driven by a singular goal: to save enough money to reunite with her young son, Richard, by bringing him to the United States. Every day, she navigates the complexities of her new life while working as a domestic helper for HUDSON, a wealthy and charming young American.
Hudson's life is a maze of deceit, as he juggles two girlfriends—LYNN, a fellow Filipina with dreams of her own, and JEN, an ambitious American unaware of the double life Hudson leads. Rosa, in her role, becomes an unwitting accomplice to his scheme, managing the delicate logistics of his alternating weekends with each woman.
As she forms a bond with both Lynn and Jen, Rosa is torn between her growing friendship with them and her desperate need for Hudson's generous pay. The money represents hope and a future with her son, but the cost is her conscience.
Caught in a web of moral dilemmas, Rosa must decide whether to continue enabling Hudson’s deceit or to stand up for what is right, even if it means risking everything she has worked for. Her journey becomes a poignant exploration of sacrifice, integrity, and the lengths a mother will go to for the love of her child.
